BSc, MSc, PhD

Dr Tian Du was a postdoctoral researcher in the Briscoe group during 2020 – 2021. He worked on investigating post-annealing-treatment methods of solution-processed metal-halide perovskite thin films using the aerosol of Lewis base solvents, for the application of photovoltaic devices and photodetectors. He obtained his PhD degree in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Plastic Electronics at Imperial College London (2015 – 2019) working with professor Martyn McLachlan and professor James Durrant. Prior to that, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Beihang University, China (2009 – 2013) and his MSc degree from Imperial College London (2014 – 2015). Since 2021 he is a research fellow at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and Helmholtz-Institut Erlangen-Nürnberg (HIERN), Germany, working on large-area fully printable perovskite solar modules.
