BEng (Hons), MRes

Emanuele Palladino completed his Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) in 2020. Following that he received a Master of Research degree in Nanomaterials at Imperial College London. There he worked on mixed halide doping for low dark current perovskite photodetectors under the supervision of Dr. Nicola Gasparini and Prof. Martyn McLachlan.

He is currently a PhD candidate in Dr Joe Briscoe’s Group where he works on ferroelectric vertically aligned nanocomposites (VANs) for solar energy devices, co-supervised by Prof Judith Driscoll at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include the bulk photovoltaic effect, ferroelectric nanomaterials, nanostructured, thin films,  piezoresponse force microscopy, perovskite solar cells, and photodetectors.
