We have worked previously on dye-sensitised solar cells (DSSCs), organic photovoltaics (OPVs) and perovskite solar cells (PSCs), as well as other nanostructured PVs (such as quantum-dot sensitised). Across all technologies we are interested in exploring new materials, (nano)structures and device architectures in order to improve the efficiency, stability, or scalability of these low-cost PV technologies.

Currently our main focus is on PSCs, in particular exploring the novel process we developed to post-treat halide perovskites using a solvent aerosol, which we have recently improved upon by including additives in the aerosol, and showing that we can stabilise α-FAPbI3 for use in PSCs.
